Dr. Y. C. Kamala is the Principal and Associate Professor of Physics at National College, Jayanagar and has over 33 years of experience in PU and Under-Graduate teaching. She has five books, book chapters and articles in renowned journals and magazines to her credit, of which the most noted is “Digital kranthi Mattu Bharatha”. She has delivered over 60 lectures at various national, state level conferences. She is an excellent science communicator on topics that concern general public and has frequently appeared on news and television shows advocating for science over psuedo science. Dr. YCK has actively participated and encourages all the initiatives of BVJ Science Centre.
